 The AiRTX SpeedVac provides the operator with both a blow gun and a vacuum in a hand held, easy to use model. Using compressed air, even after many uses, there is no maintenance or diminished vacuum strength due to electric motors aging and losing service life. The SpeedVac is compact and light weight, as well as cost-efficient. The system requires no canister, but instead vacuums wet chips or dry matter into an open container. Switch the SpeedVac quickly from vacuum to blow mode with a simple reverse of the air chamber.
The SpeedVac is ideal for a number of industrial applications where quick clean up is frequently required. Work stations can be easily cleared of dust and debris, as well as heavier materials such as metal, plastic or wood chips. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- A 1/4” threaded input is provided in the handle
of the speed vac. A hand tightened air line connection
should be sufficient to provide leak free operation.
Care should be taken not to over tighten the connection
and result in cracking the housing.
- Dual operation as a blow gun or hand held vacuum
is possible by removing and reversing the cylinder
located in the barrel of the unit. To remove the
cylinder from the barrel section, turn the knurled
and threaded rear section of the barrel in a counter
clockwise direction and remove it. Pull the cylinder
out, along with the O Ring. The arrow on the side
of the cylinder indicates the air flow.
- Return the cylinder with the arrow pointing
forward for a blow gun application or with the arrow
pointing to the rear for a vacuum operation. Return
the O Ring and knurled cap to a hand tightened positiion.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

by ordinary compressed air, it can vacuum wet chips
or dry matter directly into an open drum. It switches
from vacuum to blow mode with a simple reverse of the

BEFORE OPERATING THE SPEEDVAC MODEL 90400 IN THE VACUUM
MODE, A HOSE OR DUST BAG MUST BE ATTACHED TO THE REAR
OF THE UNIT. OPERATORS SHOULD WEAR SAFETY GLASSES WHEN
USING THE SPEED VAC.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I increase the vacuum?
The trigger mechanism limits the amount of CFM that can flow through the Gun. Increasing
the psi can increase the flow and thereby increase the vacuum strength.
